Will You Adopt Me? Meet Leaf - A Snuggly Senior Boy

In April  we introduced you to a beautiful cat named Purrogi at Monmouth County SPCA who just happens to be their Cat Pawsitve Pro (CPP) shining star. We have great news to share with you; Purrogi was adopted! Cinnamon, who we shared with you in March, is also enjoying her forever home! This month we're featuring another Monmouth County SPCA cat - meet Leaf, a senior gentleman brought into the shelter as a stray.

Leaf, who describes himself as a  friendly little old man who loves to sunbathe and take naps, was brought in when he was found on the street as a stray. "A nice lady brought me to the shelter so I could find my forever home."

Leaf is 12 years young and and isn't afraid to let people know! He struggles with constipation from time to time, but the wonderful medical staff at Monmouth County SPCA (which is located in Eatontown, NJ)  have been working with him and have figured out the purrfect combination of medications. To quote Leaf, "I am pooping like a champ!"

Leaf will have to take medication every day for the rest of his life, but he hopes this doesn't scare potential adopters away. Taking meds is "easy peasy" for him and he's happy to say they're inexpensive, too!

Leaf wants people to know that if you "give me a home and a family to call my very own, I will give you endless snuggles, purrs, and love." Who could resist that?

Pin Us!

Leaf would make any family happy. If you're interested in getting endless snuggles, purrs and love or want to learn more about him, please contact Nina Lucow at nina@monmouthcountyspca.org. You can also call her directly at the shelter at 732.542.0040. (Don't forget to tell her Lola sent you!) And we'd be so grateful if you'd share Leaf on your social media accounts.

Have you adopted a shelter cat? Tell us about them in the comments.
