Mews and Nips: Tortie Kitten Insists on Staying With Foster Family’s Son

When a litter of three-week-old kittens was found on a baseball field in the Bronx, Sunny, a local animal rescuer, took the kittens home. There was no sign of the mother cat. One of the kittens, a tortie, quickly took a special liking to Sunny’s son. She wanted to be held and cuddled by him, and if anyone took her away from her favorite person, she showed a hefty dose of tortitude even at her young age. If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, I shared a resource to help with getting through the next year or two and remain reasonably stable, on Monday, I explained why not all pheromone products are created equal, on Tuesday, we featured a sturdy and super comfortable window seat, on Wednesday, we took a trip down memory lane to a time when Ruby and Allegra went fishing, and on Thursday, we celebrated Allegra’s 11th birthday. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway to win a PetLibro Automatic Fountain for your cats!

I lost count of the number of times I’ve watched today’s video, and it still makes me laugh out loud every time – enjoy!

Have a great weekend!
