Mews and Nips: “Unexpected Item in The Bagging Area”

Pumpkin, an orange and white cat who lives near a Tesco supermarket in Norwich, UK, became an “unexpected item in the bagging area.” The cat was a regular for well over a year before the shop tried to ban the kitty. A spokesperson for the store told the BBC that it was not really possible for a store to ban a cat and admitted Pumpkin would probably continue his visits. For more about Pumpkin, visit BBC.com.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Monday, Dr. Lynn Bahr answered reader questions, on Tuesday, we reviewed the Castle Cat Bed from Aqua Terra Pet Decor, on Wednesday, I shared a memory of Ruby, and on Friday, we celebrated Valentine’s Day. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway to win an adorable cat night light from Triple T Studios!

Today’s video continues the theme of “cats in unexpected places.” Oh, to be as chill as this kitty! Then again, his human’s beautiful music may have something to do with it.

Have a great weekend!
