Today, the stations will partner with hundreds of animal shelters/rescues in the U.S. and Puerto Rico to help families find and adopt a new pet – and give pets a second chance at life. Shelters and rescues will reduce or even waive pet adoption fees. Since 2015, NBC- and Telemundo-owned stations’ Clear the Shelters campaign has helped a quarter million pets find new homes. Saturday, August 24 – Sunday, August 25: 2019 N.E.M.O. CFA Cat Show
See kitties at the top of the class! New England Meow Outfit (N.E.M.O.) is putting on its 7thannual Cat Fanciers’ Association show in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. More than 150 pedigreed and mixed-breed cats will compete in eight judging rings, plus a feline agility ring. You’ll find lots of vendors, family-friendly activities and refreshments. Friday, August 30 – Sunday, September 1: Viva Las Vegas II
The International Cat Association’s 40thannual show and awards ceremony returns to Las Vegas this summer. This show is the Oscar’s of the cat world – to stage, reward and celebrate our feline companions. Held at Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino, the show will feature about 500 cats (across 70 breeds) strutting their stuff.
