Caturday Flashback With Binga, Boodie, and Sparkle

Here’s a real Caturday flashback for you — all the way back to November 2008! That’s even before my mother was born! But I thought you’d enjoy seeing Binga, Boodie, and Sparkle, especially since these are sort of quirky photos. Above is Binga, who had a longtime romance with my human’s MacBook Pros. Every winter, she decided they made a good cat bed. At some point after I came here, she stopped doing this. I don’t know why.

This was the first year my human went to the Cat Writers Conference, and when she brought home a suitcase full of cat swag, there was excitement all around! Boodie has always been the quiet cat who mostly hangs in the background, but even she was entranced by everything.

Among the treats and toys was something called a Pawbreaker, which was basically a solid ball of catnip! My human didn’t even open the package before Boodie had taken it over.

Sparkle, meanwhile, had commandeered a guitar case. When my human’s ex was living here, there was always an open guitar case lying around — and a cat to lie around inside it.

This is actually one of my human’s favorite photos of Sparkle. The meerkat mojo was strong with her!
