A Crazy CatCon Weekend
It was a crazy weekend for my human at CatCon. That was probably a good thing, so she wasn’t sitting around the house being sad about Binga. Instead she was visiting with lots of friends and checking out lots of cool stuff. Here are some of the highlights.
The Yeowww! booth had a cat-sized throne made almost completely of their catnip bananas!
My latest favorite toys had a booth there!
The Necoichi booth had some cool things!
The Cat Box Boutique booth had some cool items for cats, but my human was more interested in their adult beverage accessories.
The Adventure Cats had a booth!
My human was going to come back and buy one of these cat clocks… and then she forgot.
Kat Von D didn’t just have a booth — they had a huge space with a stage and a make up area where they taught people how to apply cat eye eyeliner. Plus this throne. My human did not sit in it because she can’t do a cat eye to save her life.
My friend Steve Dale (I met him at Wag Petcon) gave talks both days about kitten classes. They’re all about socializing kittens, and training humans to be proper kitten caretakers. The cubicle was standing room only, and with good reason — not only did the audience get to hear Steve’s expert advice, they got to handle real kittens!
And there was even more! Cat and kitten adoptions, for one. Meet and Greets with famous internet cats. And Purradise City, an interactive exhibit that included this cool kitty-themed living space that while, seemingly 2-dimensional, was fully three dimensions!
It was an exhausting weekend for my human! Maybe I’ll be famous enough to come next year!
