Mews and Nips: Girl’s PowerPoint Presentation Convinces Parents to Get Her a Cat

A Twitter user recently shared the PowerPoint presentation his daughter made to convince her parents to get a cat. The girl’s arguments were so compelling that the tweet collected 16,000 likes in three days and hundreds of comments from people asking the dad to allow his daughter to adopt a cat. Even Microsoft chimed in with a “a very compelling presentation! She has us convinced” tweet. For more about the presentation and the responses, visit NDTV.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, I talked about how we can create a better future through the choices we make every day, on Monday, we celebrated Labor Day, on Tuesday, we featured Sleepypod’s gorgeous new color, on Wednesday, I shared an article I wrote for a British travel website on how cats help us through these challenging times, on Thursday, I announced that our 2021 wall calendar is now available for purchase, and on Friday, we reviewed the new and updated edition of Pam Johnson-Bennett’s Cat vs. Cat: Keeping the Peace When You  Have More Than One Cat.

In today’s video, a very polite little cat is asking to share her human’s meal – enjoy!

Have a great weekend!
