5 Dog-Friendly Denver Coffee Shops

Make your mornings a little less ruff by having your #1 best bud and favorite a.m. pick-me-up all in one place. Check out these dog-friendly Denver coffee shops for a cup of coffee and a little *pet-working.*

1. Stella’s Coffee

You’d better fluffin’ believe there are free treats at this brightly hued Pearl Street coffee shop. Also on paw: live music, art-for-sale–bedecked walls, and a pup-pleasing patio. For being suchagoodboy while you scarfed down a piece of banana walnut bread and guzzled an iced matcha tea, treat your pup to a new toy (or two) at nearby pet shop The Whole Cat & Dogs Too.

2. Highlands Cork & Coffee

Whether doggo’s your early-morning coffee companion or your after-work bubbly buddy, dogs lounge on this patio all puppin’ day. Afternoons are even known as “puppy hour” because of the amount of four-legged patrons. After you two finish your refreshments—complimentary water bowls and treats for your pup; panini and a cuppa for you—head on over to Biscotti Hound for homemade dog biscuits in flavors like coconut and pumpkin. (Planning a birthday bash for your woofer? This place also makes dog birthday cakes.)

3. Wash Perk

After sniffin’ around Washington Park’s lakeside paths and flower gardens, wag over to Wash Perk (we can’t help but wonder if the name was inspired by Friends’ Central Perk). Order a flavored iced tea or freshly roasted coffee, then snag a seat and take a selfie on the dog-friendly patio. You doggo may even be featured on Wash Perk’s Instagram page as a “Pup of the Perk.”

4. Roostercat Coffee House

We promise this place is aces for doggos, even though it has rooster and cat in the name. In fact, they even have a dog run with water bowls and a poo station. Stay warm on the patio by sitting near one of two fire pits. Roostercat stays open until 8 p.m. bc sometimes you need an evening pick-me-up.

5. The Radiator Cafe & Bar

This Sunnyside neighborhood hang is open day to night so you can get coffee and snackies with Fido in the morn’ then come back later for ice cream or libations. Garage doors open up to the expansive patio so you can gaze into pup’s eyes even while you order.
