Enter the #RememberMeThursday Contest to Win Money & Prizes For Your Favorite Shelter

Hello, everyone. This is Lexy checking in to tell you about a wonderful contest for Remember Me Thursday. 

As you know, every year Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC) holds a contest in conjunction with Remember Me Thursday. And this year is no exception! Wouldn't you love to win cash and prizes for your favorite shelter? Of course you would! Here's how:

• Visit the official contest page and submit your pet's story and photo. 
• Share your photos of your pet on social media with the hashtags #RememberMeThursday and #SeeTheLight. 

There are some fabulous prizes this year!

1st place – $5,000 monetary prize, 1,000 pounds of Blue Buffalo pet food and 100 Kong toys

2nd Place – $2,500 monetary prize, 1,000 pounds of Blue Buffalo pet food and 100 Kong toys

3rd place – $1,000 monetary prize, 1,000 pounds of Blue Buffalo pet food and 100 Kong toys

 This year there is a new twist on the contest. In addition to the top three entries chosen by the judges, there will be a People's Choice Winner who will win some Remember Me Thursday swag and a gift basket filled with cat or dog gear, food, and accessories. I know which shelter we're going to nominate! Lola and I have decided to nominate  Abandoned Angels Cat Rescue in Ohio. AACR is basically a one-woman show, and Miss Lynda does SO much to help cats in need. Our good friend Shiloh, who was rescued by Miss Lynda, is their spokescat. We're crossing our paws every day so we can win for them.

And I'm getting my paws ready to vote, too, because I know there will be some very touching stories shared.
