Why Cats Need Labor Day Too (Or at Least I Do!)

Humans seem to think Labor Day is all about them, that they work hard and they deserve a day off. Well, guess what? We cats work hard too! So I think we also deserve Labor Day off. I mean, look at all the work I do.

I do lots of modeling. In fact, I have photo sessions several times a week.

And it’s not always glamorous work either! Lots of times I have to do photo shoots that make me look totally ridiculous.

I do celebrity meet and greets! This is another thing that sounds glamorous but is really hard work. It also often involves traveling, and that can be grueling.

Even the local cat show meet and greets are hard work. The public stops by all day, wanting me to pose for them and give them high fives. I bet that would exhaust lots of humans.

I’m even a party planner! You don’t think these Cat World Domination Days create themselves, do you?

And of course, there’s my therapy cat work. It’s the most important work I do.

So you can see why cats need Labor Day too… or at least I do! But I bet there are also cats out there who work just as hard. Their jobs may not be as flashy as mine, but they are just as important!
