Seattle Breweries That Welcome Dogs Inside



It’s heckin’ cold, but you can still enjoy a cold one with your pup! Brush up on dog-friendly taproom etiquette—then check out these Seattle breweries where the beer is always cold, the welcome is always warm, and there are always pats for good doggos.

Cloudburst Brewing
Unique brews and pawesome decor make you wanna sit ‘n stay a while. Then hop pupboard the dog-friendly Alki water taxi to glide over to Alki. You can pick your poison, whether it be renting some kayaks from the Marination Station of crusing the Alki trail for some epic Seattle skyline views.

Beveridge Place Pub
More than 150 bottles of beer ‘n a healthy selection of brewery fun and board games mean you and your woofer’ll never get bored. Next head over to pawesome Westcrest Park or get your dog squeaky-clean at The Wash Dog right across the street.

The Woods Tasting Room
This spot ruvs the pooches so much, makes treats for ’em out of the brewery’s spent grains. Also on tap: grub from Bread & Circuses, brewery games, and plenty o’ seating for packs of all sizes.

Flycaster Brewing Company
Brewery dog Madden wants you and your pooch to visit on Wednesdays so much, you’ll get $1 off your first pint! Then mosey on down the street to Denny’s Pet World, a mecca of dog noms from pastries to chew treats. Also on paw: a self-serve dog wash.

Bad Jimmy’s Brewing Co
Doe you and FIdo ruv to kick it old-school? Bad Jimmy’s features a pinball arcade and there’s Nintendo 64 upstairs. Complete the full Ballard experience with a quick stroll over to the Ballard Locks, a must-see and one of the area’s most pup-ular tourist attractions.

Burke Gilman Brewing Co.
Ciders, beers, and board games abound at this dog-inclusive taproom. Wanna keep adventuring? Head over to “The Ave” just a mile away for some mid-afternoon coffee or boba tea.

Chuck’s Hop Shop
This place is dog- and kid-friendly, making it grrreat for families. Just a quick ride in the car from Chuck’s and you can visit the beautiful Washington Park Arboretum UW Botanical Gardens, a scenic getaway in the middle of the city.

Dogwood Play Park
An indoor doggo park that’s also a brewery – what more do you need to know? If pupper is itching for just a bit more play, hit up the Eastside Off-Leash Dog Area for some rounds of fetch in their wide-open field.

Floating Bridge Brewing
Belly on up to the spacious bar or enjoy the quiet loft space, and greet the brewery’s two resident pooches. Your next stop will definitely need to be Gas Works Park after this spot! Gas Works has a beautiful giant lawn to run around in, trails, and a perfect kayaking/SUP launch area if you and Fido wanna hit South Lake Union and cruise around the lake.

Fremont Brewing
Staff and other patrons love the doggo guests here! Come for the beer, stay fur free pretzels and apples. Everyone knows Fremont is a solid spot for breweries and Ballard is right next door.  Grab the leash and head over to King’s Hardware for their dog-friendly covered outdoor patio with boozy slushies and great food.

Ghostfish Brewing
GF hoomans will puppreciate the gluten-free beer selection, and doggos will love pats from the staff. Extend your outing by heading over to the West Seattle Bridge to Westcrest Park; one of the best off-leash dog parks in the county, featuring a fenced scenic loop complete with small doggy tunnels and an obstacle course. 

Hale’s Ales
Seasonal beers and special events on the regular make this a pup-ular local spot. Make your way over to Fremont Peak Park for a picturesque picnic with your pup. You’re guaranteed to get some beautiful shots here as you play pupparazzi with your fav furry pal. Do it for the ‘gram.

Hellbent Brewing
Greet the resident brewery Labrador and then make yourselves comfy at this taproom featuring a variety of ciders and beers. If you’re feeling adventurous afterwards, you can hit up Magnuson off-leash Dog Park just a few miles away. Pro tip: BYO towel if your pup ruvs the water. Need a pick-me-up? Make your way over to Bark! Espresso where you can sit and sip a puppuccino with your dog inside.

Lagunitas Taproom and Beer Sanctuary
Just around the corner you can find the awesome bicycle-themed microbrewery, Peddler Brewing Company. Dog-friendly, food trucks, board games, and cornhole, what more could you as for? Oh wait, they’re also a haven for cyclists if you’re into that kinda thing.  Get some brews, a tune up if you are traveling on a bike, all while hanging out with your dog; everyone wins.

Lowercase Brewing
This place loves the woofers so much, it hosts dog-focused events on the regular. Oxbow Park and its unique sculptures are a 12-minute walk if you’re pup for taking some fun selfies with your pooch.

Lucky Envelope Brewing
All the good doggos score treats from the staff at this dog-lovin’ spot. Afterward, hit up gorgeous Greenlake, a Seattleite-must any time of year.

Outer Planet Brewing
Treats and water bowls make this watering hole a doggone good time. Also, you can’t hang out in Cap Hill without also making a routine stop at Dick’s Drive-In nearby. Yummy local burgers and plenty of great people and dog watching  while you’re at it. Treat yo’self, and get a milkshake too, your pup won’t be mad about it.

Populuxe Brewing
Take your gamer dog for water, brews, and a little friendly compawtition at this arcade-brewery combo. Your little fur bud will leave with tail a-waggin’.

Postdoc Brewing
Let pupper be your teammate during Postdoc’s trivia competitions, and then make your way over to Marymoor Off Leash Dog Park for a good post-brew romp.

Ravenna Brewing
Come fur the IPAs, stay fur the board games and free pretzels. Ravenna Park is just a short walk away and a hidden treat in the city.

Seattle-Lite Brewing Company
Plenty of wine, craft brews, snacks, and pats from the pup-lovin’ staff make this spot a guaranteed barktacular time. Next, head over to the Westcrest Park, which features a fenced scenic loop complete with some small doggy tunnels and an obstacle course.
