St. Paul May Ban Pet Shop Sales of Dogs and Cats

Breaking news: St. Paul is considering adopting a humane pet store ordinance that prohibits pet stores from selling dogs and cats acquired from puppy and kitten mills. It’d continue to allow stores to host adoption events with animal shelters and rescues. In 2017, Roseville was the first Minnesota city to adopt a humane pet store ordinance, and this spring, Eden Prairie became the second.

Wanna help St. Paul become the third? Animal Folks, Humane Society of the United States, and Animal Humane Society are holding a hearing with council members on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and the public is invited to attend. Check out the event, and show up to woof your support for the puppers and kittehs.
