Ah, at last!  One moment longer of daylight today!  Papa is a NEW MAN!  As the days dwindle down and get darker, papa gets a bit glummer, whatever that is, and then, bammo, suddenly there is a teensy bit more light and getting lighter each day from now on and papa starts doing a jig all over the place!
