My Portland Cat Show Weekend

I had a long weekend at the Portland cat show! This is actually the second time I’ve been to this particular show hall. I was also here on my first trip to Portland, although it was for a different show.

Even though I was here for two days, my human actually didn’t get that many photos, and most of them aren’t very good! I think that’s because she went out every night while we were here, and did not spend a lot of time in our hotel room. So she was kind of tired most days. She knows a bunch of people in Portland, and I think she saw most of them! A couple of our blogging pals stopped by the show itself — Isabella and Angel’s human visited on Saturday, and Valentine’s human came up on Sunday.

I only wore a handful of outfits, and only briefly. My human felt that most of the spectators really wanted to touch my soft fur, so she didn’t want to cover it up with clothing. But my robe and bunny slippers outfit was a huge hit! People were really excited about it.

I rested when I felt like it, and just let people pet me in my bed. Sometimes I laid on my back and let people pet my tummy. Once I draped my tail out of my enclosure. It looks pretty impressive that way, doesn’t it? I also impressed people with my tricks and gave out quite a few high fives.

After my human came back from dinner on Sunday night, she had a quick nap and then took me out for a walk around the hotel. There were these gigantic Christmas trees in the lobby, and I posed in front of one in my pink sweater coat. I had lots of fun exploring! It was a good trip, but I will be glad to come home.
