Review: RompiCatz Rustlin’ Mylar Toys
RompiCatz makes some of the best cat toys on the market. These toys from the creator of the popular Neko Flies are designed to engage your cat’s natural hunting and prey instinct. Ellen understands the importance of mental stimulation and physical exercise for indoor cats. She has been creating toys that move and act like real prey for many years. Her toys provide endless opportunities to keep cats happy.
The Rustlin’ Mylar Toys are Ellen’s newest offering, and they’re fantastic. These toys feature “bugs” made out of mylar that make a rustling sound when they’re moved around.
We received the Winged Bug Teaser, Iridescent Teaser and Butterfly Teaser. Allegra was immediately intrigued. She barely let me get the toys out of the packaging! She danced around me feet and cried while I unwrapped them.
Rustlin’ Butterfly Teaser
The Rustlin’ Butterfly Teaser features a wand with three adjustable butterflies on a thin wire. As you can see in the video below, Allegra went absolutely nuts for this toy. You’ll have to excuse the at times shaky video, my hand eye coordination isn’t great at the best of times, and using the toy with one hand and filming with the other was a bit challenging!
Rustlin’ Winged Bug Teaser
The Rustlin’ Winged Bug Teaser features a wand with a thin but sturdy thread and a blue and pink bug that makes an enticing rustling sound and dazzles in the light. As you can see in the video below, this toy was a big hit with Allegra, too.
Rustlin’ Irridescent Teaser
The Rustlin’ Irridescent Teaser features a wand with multiple irridescent wings – a great toy for close up play, and also as a training tool.
I absolutely love these toys, and the fact that Allegra can’t get enough of them.
