Dog-Friendly Twin Cities Weekend: Free Puppy Playtime, Succulent Bar, & More
No offense to the kittehs – we’re gaga for those evil secret agents, too – but at the end the day, we’re pooch people. Here’s what’s on the agendog this weekend.
Puppy Playtime @ Dreadlocks for Dingoes Lowertown (11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 7) Don’t wanna deal with a squirmy puppo at brunch? Bring your young floofer here first to burn off some zoomies. There’s no min or max age, just an hour of supervised, free puppy playtime with other exhausted pawrents. (He was up *how* many times last night?)
Spring Foster Photo Event @ Tonkadale Greenhouse (2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 7) If you’re fostering, please accept our round of appaws and drooly kisses. Now let’s find that waggy angel a forever home! With a free professional photo from this event, no human’ll be able to pass by those puppy eyes.
Succ It Up Buttercup Plant Bar @ Lakes & Legends Brewing Co. (1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 8) Your best friend loves to dig and clearly has a talent for arranging succulents and cacti. Embrace your inner plant lady and get your paws dirty building an arrangement between sips of crisp and crushable 5-Weight Cream Ale.
Plus, an anytime outing:
Cedar Knoll Park (7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays) With temps nosing 60 this weekend, you’d be puggin’ nuts to skip the dog park. This St. Louis Bark gem features an off-leash area with plenty of trees and varied terrain for your four-legged friend.
What did we miss, puppies? Share the woof in the comments and submit your dog-friendly events here!
