My Turkey Faces

I don’t know where my human went for Thanksgiving dinner, but this is what it looked like. Can you believe there was a cat there, and he did not beg for any turkey? Anyway, enough about him. The point is, the couple that were having Thanksgiving dinner only like white meat, so they sent my human home with a whole bunch of dark meat — my favorite!

Of course, I didn’t know that when she came home, so she got this face when she came through the kitchen door. Dinner was late!

Then I realized what she had, and it was time for my turkey face! I expected to get some right away.

Unfortunately, she was taking her time picking out some turkey. I was beginning to get pretty anxious about whether I was going to get any at all!

Finally, she pulled out some turkey and had me sit up for it. I did even better than that — I was doing fancy dance steps!

This step is called “Gimme that turkey!” I did get a lot of tastes, and I didn’t have to work so hard for most of them.

In case you are wondering, Boodie got lots of tastes too, but she didn’t make any turkey faces. She just sat there patiently and watched me do mine.
