Caturday Extras and Outtakes

I have some extras for you today — mainly photos that didn’t wind up in a blog post for one reason or another. I’m not sure what happened with the above photo. When I spend time outside around the house, my human usually takes photos. And usually some of them wind up in the blog. But this time they didn’t.

There is a funny story behind this. Trader Joe’s is carrying cat advent calendars this year (last year they only had dog ones). Well, in our area, and in quite a few others, the demand greatly exceeded the supply. My human went in to our local TJ’s to pick one up — and they were completely gone, even though they had just stocked them that afternoon! So she did what she usually does in these instances: griped about it on Facebook. One of those who read her post was the human behind the Cats Herd You blog, and she managed to snag an extra at her Trader Joe’s in Florida! And she sent it to us.

She also enclosed this super cool semi-vintage greeting card!

Remember when I was at the pet store the other day, and I mentioned that they only had ugly holiday sweaters? Here’s proof! You can see I was not impressed by these.

And lastly, here is an outtake from the same shopping trip. I was making a face at my human for even momentarily worrying about what I might do in that litter box.
