Mews and Nips: Cat Brings Home Swimming Goggles
We’ve heard stories about burglar cats before, but 4-year-old Avery is putting a new spin on feline thievery: for the past three weeks, she’s been bringing swimming goggles to her home in Bristol in the UK. Her human checked with her neighbors and even posted on social media, but nobody has reported any missing goggles. For more about Avery and his antics, visit BBC.com.
If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, I shared a process that helps me cope a little better with current circumstances, on Monday, we offered tips on how to help your cats cope with thunderstorms, on Tuesday, Allegra reviewed the new Cheerble Board Game, on Wednesday, I shared a memory of Ruby, and on Friday, I shared Sarah Chauncey’s talk from Meowfest about deepening the bond with your cat. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway to win an Assisi Loop for your cat!
We”ll stay in the UK for today’s video. We previously reported on cathedral cat Leo, who joined the Dean of Canterbury during one of his morning prayer sessions. A few days ago, another one of the cathedral cats, Tiger, joined the Dean and helped himself to a little milk while he was at it. Enjoy!
Have a great weekend!
