Modeling Forgotten Dresses
A couple of days ago, my human shared an older blog post of mine on Facebook. It included a couple of dresses I hadn’t seen in… years. It turns out that she had put one of them aside along with another pair of dresses from a different blog post because they were filthy! She spilled something on one of them, I have no idea what, and the others were, well, grimy. They actually had washing instructions. The tag said to hand wash them.
So she did what she always does with hand washing. She threw them in a laundry bag and tossed them in the washing machine under the “hand wash” setting. You might think she is not very good with laundry. And you might be right.
Fortunately my human’s lazy approach to laundry didn’t ruin them.
But it also didn’t get the stain out of this dress. So it had to go into the trash.
Fortunately my human found the other dress from the original 2015 blog post at the bottom of a plastic container. So I still have three dresses to model.
I was quite happy to get this dress on. I think I was a teenager (in cat years) when I last wore it! And it still fits!
Even though it’s from the mid-2010s, I think it’s still in style. At least for kitties.
This is a cute dress too, from the same vintage. My human is a sucker for dresses with skulls on them. Not for her to wear. Just me.
She says I’m the only kitty that can look sweet in a skull dress.
Lastly, there was this, um, pinafore or whatever it is.
This one’s about on par with the ugly dress I posed in recently. I think it can get lost again.
So how did you like these old/new/found dresses? Let me know in the comments!
