Mews and Nips: Leo the Cat Joins The Dean of Canterbury Cathedral for Morning Prayers

The Dean of Canterbury Cathedral in the UK has been offering daily morning prayers from the cathedral’s beautiful gardens, where he is often joined by Leo the Cathedral cat. Leo even went viral recently when he disappeared in the dean’s robes during one of the morning sessions. Watch the video of the “incident” below. Regardless of your religious or spiritual orientation, doesn’t just looking at this beautiful photo of the lovely spot the dean picked for his daily prayers soothe your soul? What a lovely, serene spot, enhanced by Leo’s presence!

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, I encouraged you to take a 24 hour news break, on Monday, I offered reflections on Memorial Day, on Tuesday, we featured an adorable cat light string, on Wednesday, we remembered the time when Ruby got in trouble with a dinner guest, on Thursday, we featured heart whisker jewelry from Volana Kote, and on Friday, we shared pre-order information for P.S. I Love You More Than Tuna.

And as promised, here’s the video of Leo “disrupting” morning prayers. I love how the dean doesn’t miss a beat.

Have a great weekend!
