Working Out With Waffles
WAFFLES: If Glogirly's supposed to be rowing this thing, it sure doesn't look like a boat.
WAFFLES: Doesn't smell like a boat either.
WAFFLES: No water, no boat. What a ripoff.
KATIE: It's a rowing machine, Waffles.
WAFFLES: You mean like a boat?
KATIE: Like a rowing machine.
WAFFLES: Like a boat machine?
KATIE: Like a ROWING MACHINE. You know, for working out.
WAFFLES: I don't know why she doesn't just run around the house doing zoomies. That's how I work out. She just sits on that machine thing pulling a big handle back and forth, back and forth.
KATIE: Yeah, well this is my idea of working out.
Sheltering & Working Out at Home
Fortunately, when we moved to Colorado Glogirly realized that going to a gym was not going to ever be in the cards. Just driving down our canyon roads to the grocery store is a commitment, so finding a gym just isn't practical. Over the years she's been accumulating a few pieces of workout equipment though and has set up our own gym right here at home.
And now that gyms and fitness centers across the country are closed, she's more grateful than ever to have her own space. Of course, the trick is to actually USE it! LOL!
Waffles and Katie will often join her.
While Katie prefers lounging on the rug or finding a sun puddle, Waffles seems to be far more curious about the whole exercising ritual.
