Do birdies get wet in rain?

So here’s the question: what do birdies eat and where do birdies go in the rain, of which we have a lot today!  I know where I go, which is NOT outdoors because mama doesn’t want me to catch whatever it is you might catch in rain.  I happen not catch ANYTHING very well, so I’m not too worried.
