Turret Playtime Faces, Plus Giveaway Winners and Rescues

I’m having lots of fun with my RompiCatz toys. I had some turret playtime yesterday afternoon with the Rustlin’ Iridescent Teaser. Apparently I make some funny faces when I do that.

I also have giveaway winners to announce! Yes, there was only supposed to be one, but things got kind of complicated.

If you have read the rules to any of my contests, you know that when I email the winner, they have 48 hours to respond before I give the prize to someone else. I also tell the person I notify in the email. So when the first person I picked didn’t reply, even after I gave them a little extra time, I had to give the prize to someone else, who happened to be Annabelle over at the Manxmnews blog! The rescue they picked to get a set of RompiCats toys is a favorite of mine, Kitten Associates in Connecticut.

Well, the morning after I notified the new winner and sent their info to the RompiCatz human, I heard from the original winner, Tami R. It turns out that she is working in an Emergency room and didn’t get to check her email in time! My human and I felt awful. So my human contacted the RompiCatz human again, and asked if she could, just this once, give another prize to this human. And she said yes! So congratulations to both Annabelle and Tami! Yay! And paws up for essential healthcare workers!

The RompiCatz human couldn’t give an extra prize to the rescue Tami picked, A Kitty’s Purrsuit of Happiness (they are actually a really small business, and let’s face it, things are hard right now for everyone).
