Uber Pet Launching in Minneapolis and Denver
Great news for dogs tired of being DD: Uber’s testing its new Uber Pet program in a few cities around the U.S., including Denver and Minneapolis. This means you won’t have to guess whether or not your Uber driver will be cool with your pooch sidekick(s) – Uber Pet drivers opt in so you only get the pro-pup furiety. It’ll cost an extra $3 to $5 per trip. As always, service dogs will be allowed to ride at no extra cost.
The Verge reports that Uber Pet will launch Oct. 16 in Austin, Denver, Nashville, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Tampa Bay. We predict a surge in baroo-ery hopping w/ furry besties.
