A Valentine’s Day Message From a Therapy Cat

When humans think of Valentine’s Day, it usually all about romance, and flowers, and boxes of chocolates, and jewelry, and dinner at a nice restaurant. Somewhere in the mix, they seem to forget about the most important part of the day: love. Not just romantic love, but love that transcends romance, and even species.

Honestly, my human has never cared about flowers and chocolates (although she’s always up for a nice dinner!). That’s why she’s happy that we are celebrating Valentine’s Day by making a therapy cat visit to one of our regular hospitals. I want to spread love to all the patients, and their families, and the hospital staff, and make their day a little brighter. Because the only thing that’s worse than being in the hospital is being in the hospital on a holiday.

My human is bringing along the Valentine’s selfie props that you saw from Sunday’s Meet the Breeds post. Some of the patients we will be visiting are kids, and it may be fun to have these on hand.

Happy Valentine’s Day, and remember, the day is as much about giving love as it is receiving.
