Will You Adopt Me? Meet Shifty - A Handsome Senior Gentleman at Tabby's Place

Today we have another Tabby's Place cats for our Will You Adopt Me series. Regular readers know I'm a big supporter of Tabby's, and I sponsor a special needs cat, Rose, on a monthly basis. Today I introduce you to Shifty, a staff favorite at the sanctuary.

Tabby's Place A Cat Sanctuary

Shifty is a 13-year-old gentleman who was found living outside. He must have lived on the streets for quite some time because he was skin and bones when he was found.

Suffering from Stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth), he was in a lot of pain and was not very trustful of humans. Over time his teeth were extracted and as his discomfort eased, he became friendlier towards people and his personality began to shine.

This handsome grey and white Tabby would do best in a home with no small children and would prefer to be an only cat. He can be seen hovering over his feline roommates in order to grab their leftover wet food when they are finished eating. Due to his love of food, he is now a hefty (but not chunky) boy with a shiny coat and glowing green eyes.

Shifty lives in the staff lounge at Tabby's. The lounge is one of my last stops on my visits, and I always look forward to visiting the cats in there. Shifty is always accepting of my attention and pets. He's such a sweet boy and anyone would be lucky to have him be a part of their family.

If you're interested in adopting Shifty, you can fill out the online adoption application or print out a fillable one.
