Mews and Nips: Tortitude Emerges Early in Rescued Kitten

A tortoiseshell cat named Rosie was living outside until neighbors noticed she was pregnant. The night before they planned to bring her into the shelter, she delivered her four “Rosebuds” outside in some bushes. Rescued and fostered by Cindy Congdon, the little family quickly thrived under her care. A tiny tortie kitten named Frances started displaying serious baby tortitude almost immediately. “She is definitely the alpha of the litter,” Cindy told Love Meow. “At ten days old, Frances already had the resting disappointed-in-you face.” Visit LoveMeow for more about Frances and the Rosebud family, including adorable photos.
