Thanksgiving Eve with Katie & Waffles

WAFFLES:  So when do we get our turkey, Boss?

KATIE:  Tomorrow, Waffles. Thanksgiving is tomorrow.

WAFFLES:  TOMORROW???? That's like a whole DAY away. What if I want to be thankful today? Can I have my turkey today? Maybe just a little gravy?

KATIE:  There's no turkey today, Waffles.  No gravy either. But you can still be thankful. 

WAFFLES:  Thankful without turkey and gravy? What about chicken? 

KATIE:  Waffles, Thanksgiving isn't about turkey or even chicken. It's about celebrating all we have to be grateful for. 

WAFFLES:  Like wand toys and stuff?

KATIE:  Well, want toys are nice. But wand toys don't really mean anything unless you have someone to play with. 

WAFFLES:  Aww, Boss. I like playing with you too. 

KATIE:  Not exactly what I was going for, Waffles. But your heart is in the right place.

WAFFLES:  Thanks, Boss. As long as my heart is here with you and Glogirly and Gloman, I know it's in the right place.

Happy Thanksgiving from All of Us

Wishing our friends in the US a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with friends and family. We hope you're able to spend time with the people (and cats!) you love.

Gloman is here with us in Colorado and Gabe & Justina (Gloman & Glogirly's kitty-loving son and daughter-in-law) will be joining us soon. That means Waffles will be doing a LOT of lap jumping, making sure everyone gets equal time. Even Katie will be soaking up the affection. Gabe and Justina are the only people, other than Glogirly and Gloman, that Katie is loving and relaxed around.
