Yay! It’s National Fried Chicken Day!

If you are a kitty, what’s the best day of the year? National Fried Chicken Day, of course! My human tries to find a different place for fried chicken every year. This time, she picked up a box at Dinah’s Fried Chicken. She’s been hearing great things about Dinah’s for years, but this is the first time she’s tried it. Can you believe that? I don’t understand why she doesn’t eat fried chicken all the time!

Plus she got a box with only two pieces! So, that’s one for me and one for Boodie. If she is lucky, maybe one of us will share. She can have all the pineapple cole slaw.

Then I had to wait while she took more photos (and shot some video). Wait a minute… isn’t this the exact same face I had in the very first photo?

Before I could have a piece, my human wanted me to do a trick. I didn’t know National Fried Chicken Day was a working holiday!

But I did oblige, and I sat up for the chicken.

I have to say, it was worth every second of waiting!
