Dog Friendly Outdoor Movies in Seattle – COVID-19 Edition

Due to COVID-19, only 2 venues will host outdoor movies where you can sit on a lawn with your dog. One is in King County, the other is in Pierce County.

The rest have either cancelled their movies or prohibit movie watchers from leaving their cars except to use the bathroom or get food.

Here’s a list of venues showing drive-in movies this summer in the Seattle area.

Most of the venues probably won’t show outdoor movies with lawn seating unless their counties move to Phase 4 of Governor Inslee’s guideline for reopening Washington.

King and Pierce Counties are currently in Phase 2, so the movies on the schedule now could be cancelled. And the chance that other places will schedule movies is low.

Neither venue will show movies in July.

I’ll update this post when I hear that venues are opening or closing.

If you do take your dog to an outdoor movie, please remember:

1. All dogs must be leashed
2. Only bring well-behaved dogs
3. Bring poop bags and clean up after you dog

Happy Viewing!
