Say Goodbye to Pet Odors With Pet House by One Fur All

I hate it when my house stinks. I don't like to admit it, but with two cats in a one bedroom apartment, it can happen. When company walks in the last thing I want them to think is "It smells like animals live here." I've tried many products, including room sprays and fabric fresheners, but they don't really eliminate pet odors, they just cover them up temporarily. I also worry about the effect the chemicals in these products may have on Lola nd Lexy.

I was happy to learn about the pet safe Pet House products by One Fur All.  Products that are safe for Lola and Lexy and will make my house smell good? My fingers were crossed and I hoped they worked! 

I received a Ruby Red Grapefruit Candle, a Sunwashed Cotton Freshening Room Spray, and a Pumpkin Spice Car Freshener. (Lola and Lexy aren't frequently in my car, but I'll be honest... my car often smells less than pleasant.) All of the products were wrapped in bubble wrap, but when I opened the box the delicious scents of grapefruit and clean washed clothes hit me like a ton of bricks. And I mean that in a good way! 

Pet House Candles

After quickly unboxing everything I took the lid off of the candle and in less than a minute my living room smelled delightful. Before I lit it I decided to just let it sit on the table to see how long the scent would last with the lid off. When I woke up the next morning I could still smell it. And when I came home from work I smelled it as soon as I walked in. Now I couldn't wait to light it! (I think I forsee a candle collection in my near future.)

It's amazing! Pet House Candles by One Fur All are made with 100% natural, dye-free soy wax,  are free of paraffin/petroleum by-products, have up to a 60 hour burn time, and are cruelty-free! Yes! A great candle that neutralizes pet odors rather than just covering them up, freshens your home and is cruelty-free? This is definitely a company I feel comfortable endorsing. 

You can choose from about 30 different scents, including Evergreen Forest, Jasmin Lily, and Lavender Vanilla. I can't wait to try the Lemon Verbena! 

I know many people do not like to use candles in a home where pets live. I never leave a burning candle unattended, and always keep a watchful eye. Candles are a personal choice, and if you choose to use them in your home you will love these. 

I almost forgot to mention that the jars are reusable. I think they'd make a cute planter for a succulent. (I'm not a DIY'er, nor do I have a green thumb, so hopefully that makes sense!) 

Pet House Room Sprays

Next, I tried the Room Freshening Spray, which comes in five different scents. I have the Sunwashed Cotton, which smells like clean laundry that was dried outside. It's strong without being overpowering, I didn't realize that it's concentrated, and I sprayed a little too much the first time. Two or three sprays is really all I need to freshen my living room, which is pretty big. 

I also tried it on my throw pillows with a good result. It's so much better than the chemical laden stuff I usually buy. The ingredients in the Pet House spray are Water, Fragrance (Including Odor Neutralizer and Essential Oil blends) Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate (Natural Preservative), Sodium Phylate (stabilizer derived from rice bran).

Pet House Car Air Fresheners

I was really looking forward to trying the Car Air Freshener. I spend a lot of time commuting in my car and I often eat and drink (lots) of coffee in it. Quite often the garbage finds its way to the floor of my backseat. I have the little tree-shaped air fresheners, but they don't always last that long. 

I received the Pumpkin Spice Car Freshener to try out, and I love it! My car smells so good! And it may be weird, but because it smells so good I'm more inclined to keep it clean and neat. 

For maximum long-lasting effectiveness, just follow these directions.

The Car Air Fresheners come in over 15 scents including Lavender Green Tea, Mandarin Sage, and Pina Colada, and are great for smaller spaces such as lockers or closets. I"m looking forward to trying Mediterranean Sea next! 

The Real Test

The Pet House products were put to the test when we had a couple of rainy, hot, and humid days here in New York. I'm talking near 100% humidity! Household odors seem so much worse when it's humid out, and I can smell them as soon as I walk through the door.(Especially the litter box.) I noticed a big difference as soon as I lit the candle and sprayed the room freshening spray! My apartment smelled clean and fresh instead of stank and offensive. They passed the test!
