Buzzing Bee Boots

WAFFLES: These rain boots sound funny, Boss.
KATIE: What do you mean, Waffles? They're boots. They don't make noise. Especially just sitting there.
WAFFLES: Then why are they buzzing?
KATIE: You mean like alarm clock buzzing?
WAFFLES: No. Like bees buzzing. Come over here and look, Boss!
KATIE: I don't hear a thing, Waffles.
WAFFLES: Look out, Boss! There's BEES in those boots!
KATIE: Waffles, the bees are on the outside of the boots.
WAFFLES: OMG, Boss!!! That's even worse! RUN!
KATIE: So how long should I wait to tell him the bees aren't real?
Ever since our blog post about Glogirly's rainy adventure to see Bohemian Rhapsody at Red Rocks, she's been getting lots of questions about her bright yellow rain boots. Even people at the movie were asking about them.
She ordered them from ModCloth, but must have gotten the last pair because they're completely out of stock. She found them at a couple of other places though. Zappos has a few sizes left, and so does Amazon. In fact, Amazon has a number of other fun colors and designs too. They're called Wellibobs and are made by Joules.
They have a nice cushy insole and were super comfortable and easy to walk in. Glogirly has kind of narrow feet and since it was cold outside, she stuck an extra pair of insoles from her slippers inside.
That cute black & white flowered rain poncho she wore is from Amazon too. It's a one size fits all, and is big enough to even wear a heavy coat and backpack underneath.
