The Great Washing Machine Mystery Starring Waffles and the Green Socks

WAFFLES:  Did you see our new TV, Boss? 

KATIE:  Ok, I'll play along. No Waffles, I haven't seen our new TV. What are you watching?

WAFFLES:  Glogirly's Green Socks. 

WAFFLES:  Did you know there's a show about her green socks? It's on Netflix, I think.

KATIE:  I hear it starts out with two green socks but by the time it's over there's only one. It's kind of a mystery, sock-napping sort of thing.

WAFFLES:  But what happens to the sock? Do they find it? Is it ok?

KATIE:  You're just going to have to watch the show.

Today's photos are from 2016 when Glogirly was getting ready to leave on her trip to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Our stackable washing machine and dryer met a tragic end. Glogirly had to gather all her quarters and head to the local laundromat so she'd have clean underwear for her trip. 

When she arrived home, the first order of business was to get a new washer/dryer. Waffles had never seen a front-loading washer before and he was absolutely transfixed. Especially when something colorful like Glogirly green socks took to the spin cycle.
