Mews and Nips: Special Birthday Edition

Hi everyone, it’s Allegra and Ruby! Guess what! Today is Mom’s birthday. Even though Mom had her usual Mews and Nips weekly round up post all ready to go, we decided that her birthday is more important. So we’re sorry there’s no weekly round up today, but really, all you  have to do is go to our home page and then scroll down to see the week’s posts, just in case you missed anything.

Ruby: Look Allegra, I got Mom balloons in her favorite colors!

Allegra: That’s very sweet of you, little one. I got her Forget-Me-Nots, because I know they’re her favorite flowers.

Ruby: And don’t forget to tell them, we got mom cake, too. A great big tuna cake!

Allegra: That’s not tuna cake, Ruby. It’s a strawberry cake with lots of whipped cream, because Mom loves strawberries.

Ruby: Oooh, I like cream. But it would be even better with tuna instead of strawberries! And Allegra, there’s only one candle on the cake? I don’t know exactly how old Mom is, but I know it’s more than one!

Allegra: Ruby! It’s not polite to talk about Mom’s age!

Ruby: Oh, okay. Then how about we snuggle with Mom all day long? And we’ll make sure she stays away from the computer and takes the day off to celebrate?

Allegra: Now that’s more like it, Ruby.

Ruby: And then maybe she’ll be so happy, she’ll give us tuna?

Allegra: Sighs. Please join us in wishing our Mom a happy birthday. She’s the best!

Ruby: We love you, Mom!
