Tineco A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner Product Review
Before I was contacted by the folks at Tineco, I had never thought of owning or reviewing a cordless vacuum cleaner…even though my sister had received a Dyson V8 Animal a few months before as a wedding gift.
As I emailed back at forth with the folks at Tineco, we ultimately decided that they would send me a Tineco A10 Hero to review and then compare to a Dyson V8 Animal. So, after this review, there will be a Dyson V8 Animal review and then a comparison between the two.
Features: Lightweight, Battery, LED and More!
The Tineco is lightweight at only 2.87lbs for the main body. The main pole is aluminium, which also makes it lightweight and perfect for taking it from floor to ceiling, if need be.
It has a 350W digital motor and on the non-Max mode it has a quiet suction up to 110-watt, which works, but I prefer to use it in Max mode, which is the maximum suction level, as you can see in our review video below. The max suction is 4 times than ordinary DC motor cordless vacuum cleaner.
It has a detachable battery and you can buy an additional battery (sold separately) if you want to have a back-up always charged to keep cleaning – like if you had a big house, for example.
What I liked the most about it was the continuous power mode switch lock, so you didn’t have to hold down the trigger button with your finger the entire time that yu were cleaning.
I also love the LED light on the power brush, so that you can see under cabinets, counters and other poorly lit areas while vacuuming – I also show that in our review video below.
Accessories
It comes with a number of accessories:
- mini power brush
- 2-in-1 dusting brush
- crevice tool
I feature each accessory in our product review video as well – but the crevice tool is definitely the one I used the most, along with the main poll with the LED power brush – which I used on tile, hardwood floors and carpet. It has a 10.4″ cleaning path which made it a perfect size to get in between things like my litter mats and the wall. It also easily fits under furniture because of it’s low-profile design.
It is a very lightweight machine – 2.87lbs and as you can see in our video, it easily converts to a handheld.
The dustbin was easy to empty, too.
It comes with the storage caddy as you can see in the photo above as well as in our videos, which makes it easy to store everything when you are not using them.
Overall, I was surprised by how much I ended up using this nifty little tool. It is so great for quick pickups and for inbetween vacuuming with your upright. I do think, depending on your flooring, you could just have this as vacuum. I have a decent amount of carpet in my home, and feel like an upright is more appropriate for that. But if I had just tile and hardwoods, and maybe a rug or something, I would consider this as my full-time vacuum.

We received the Tineco A10 Hero for review from the manufacturer and also asked that they pay a small review fee. Receiving the free product and the review fee did not influence this honest post.
