Whether you’re looking for luxe Loop digs or neighborhood hangs, here are some of the city’s most pup-friendly places to stay and play.

Ace Hotel Chicago
Ace Hotel is the place for a pawsome West Loop weekend, and a portion of the pet fee benefits PAWS Chicago! For people, there’s Waydown, the popular wooftop bar and lounge with dreamy skyline views and DJ programming every Thursday-Sunday. And listen up, pooches: Dogs are welcome in the lobby and bar areas, and Bartelme Dog Friendly Area is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Chicago Athletic Association Hotel
Downtown’s Chicago Athletic Association Hotel not only accepts dogs, it encourages them! Pooches will go mutts for walks around Millennium Park (I mean, they’ve always wanted a Cloud Gate selfie). Onsite Fairgrounds Craft Coffee and Tea also welcomes the woofers inside and has treats for ‘em, too.

The Guesthouse Hotel
This place adores four-legged guests! Your dog will ruv the hotel’s complimentary treats, beds, baggies, and food and water bowls, and you’ll both love exploring its dog-friendly neighborhood guide.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago
These pup-friendly hotels in the South Loop at McCormick Place and in River North a few blocks from the Mag Mile let Fido explore most of the place with you, including outdoor areas (poo bags included). With amenities like full kitchens and tasty, complimentary breakfast, everypawdy’s gonna have a waggin’ good time. Après-adventuring, order room service and snuggle on the bed together.

Hotel Lincoln
Hotel Lincoln rests right in the lush dog-walkin’ paradise that is Lincoln Park. Humans will enjoy their rooftop yoga and a wine hour (J. Parker is upstairs), and pups will love what they get when they ask about the “secret door” at the front desk—it gets ‘em a surprise!

The James Hotel Chicago
Steps from Michigan Ave., this hotel has teamed up with Shinola Detroit to provide size-appropriate pup beds, food and water bowls, organic treats, and more for a $75 cleaning fee, some of which is donated to ALIVE Rescue.

Ray’s Bucktown Bed and Breakfast
Enjoy all that Bucktown and nearby Wicker Park have to off-fur! Enjoy tons of walkable restaurants, warmly furnished rooms, and a cooked-to-order breakfast. And for your bestie, Churchill Field Dog Park, Logan Square Dog Park, and The 606 are all just a 12-15 minute walk away.

Virgin Hotels Chicago
This place has so much love for the woofers. Pup-focused perks include a dog bed, food and water dishes (with some treats for good measure), and a stylish bandana! There are no additional fees, either.

W Chicago Lakeshore
W Chicago Lakeshore is located on Lake Michigan’s waterfront and just steps from the Mag Mile. Dogs will dig many pawsh amenities, like special W treats, comfy beds, toys, and W collar tags. And you’ll both appreciate the corgi-ous view.
