Checking In From St. Louis
Wednesday was my travel day to St. Louis for the Cat Writers conference, and I’m checking in! Usually my human and I fly out of the Burbank airport because it’s closer to us, but to get a nonstop to St. Louis, we had to fly out of LAX. I don’t know why everyone hates LAX so much. I loved hanging out there, once we reached our boarding gate.
The woman sitting next to us made a big deal out of me! She said she had three cats at home. Not long before we boarded, she asked us if we would watch her suitcase while she went to the restroom. I helped lots by sitting in her chair and pretending it was mine. (Yes, I did walk over and sit there on my own — my human didn’t put me there!)
After we checked into the hotel, my human visited with some of the other human cat writers. I didn’t want to be cooped up in the room all night, so when she came back, she took me for a walk around the hotel’s main floor, where most of the conference is taking place.
Not that it’s boring in the room — my human did bring my favorite toy along!
Although it was a fun day, it was a long one! I was more than ready for bed! So I’m checking out for the night.
