How I Ended 2018

I’m lucky I got to spend the end of 2018 doing one of my favorite things: spending time outside! It has been pretty brisk for southern California this week, so my human put one of my sweaters on me.

Since it has been a while — this is the first time I’ve been out since the week before Christmas — I had to rub on everything. The neighborhood kitties probably have forgotten my scent!

I also spent some time bird watching! It’s way different from doing it inside, as you know.

I also practiced some bell ringing and other tricks. I had a really nice time, and it was a good way to put an end to 2018.

This past year was a very rough one for my human, with a lot of personal and business challenges. She was unhappy and depressed for much of it, although I didn’t discuss nearly any of it here. (After all, it is her business, not mine!) But I will say that things are already starting to look up for her, even though she will probably have to work harder than ever! At least a lot of it involves doing things she loves, and spending time with me. And isn’t that what counts?
