Good Old Time: New Indoor Dog Park Opens in Minnesota
Did thumbody thay indoor dog park?
Yip, yip, hooray: A NEW indoor dog park just opened in Minnesota.
The best part? It benefits senior rescue dogs.
Just in time to chase away those winter blues, the smarty pantses (that’s right — we said pantses) at Grey Face Rescue & Retirement opened up an indoor, off-leash park in St Cloud. Members of the pup-lic are welcome to romp in the 1000-square-foot space starting at just $5 per dog.
Note: Pre-registration is required. More info on hours, fees, and fine print can be found right this way.
Grey Face is a foster-based rescue focused on providing quality care and love to one of our fave breeds: seniors. Proceeds from off-leash park fees will go toward maintaining the space; Grey Face also welcomes park sponsorships and general donations to support the sweet doggos in its care.
The park provides another rescue-ruvin’ benefit: preventing owner surrender. “As a rescue, we have noticed that we receive an increase in inquiries from households wanting to surrender their dogs due to behavior,” according to Grey Face. “We truly believe that adding exercise to a dog’s routine will decrease the number of families needing to surrender their dogs during the winter time.”
We’d say this is well worth a quick drive from the Twin Cities, folks. Check it out ASAP and let us know what you think of the new digs!
